Iced Coffee

Basic Iced Coffee -- Prepare double-strength coffee. Pour hot coffee over cracked ice in tall glasses, or over a block of ice in a pitcher. Serve with cream (plain or whipped) and sugar or black.

Austrian Iced Coffee -- Fill tall glasses halfway with cracked ice. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the ice as desired, and place 1 tablespoon whipped cream in each glass. Last, pour hot, double-strength coffee into the glasses.

Iced Café au Lait -- Pour 1 cup double strength coffee over cracked ice in a tall glass. Add a small scoop of vanilla or coffee flavor ice cream; serve immediately.
