Grease Spot Remover for Laundry

1 tablespoon salt
4 tablespoons rubbing alcohol

Directions:

It is important to treat the stain before it goes through a clothes dryer. Combine salt and alcohol in a small bowl. Make a pad of a clean white cloth and place the soiled area of the garment on it, upside down. With a clean white cloth, working from the back of the fabric, gently apply the alcohol mixture, allowing it to dredge through the stain and soak into the pad. Launder the garment and allow it to air-dry. Repeat process if the stain is still there.

Notes:
I am not sure if this recipe came from my mother-in-law or if I copied it from an Amish cookbook.

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
