Garneta Johnson's Nut Frosting

1 cup ground walnuts
1 cup ground peanuts
1 cup ground raisins

Directions:
Mix the ground walnuts, peanuts, and raisins with just enough powdered sugar that the nuts and raisins stay together.

Notes:
Garneta Johnson of Rose, Nebraska, placed this recipe in the Jolly Neighbors Extension Club's handwritten cookbook during the early 1960's. I have expanded the directions a little because all the recipes were greatly condensed to fit on one side of a 3x5" recipe card. Garneta and Tuie Johnson were neighbors who lived northwest of us. Their sons, Jimmie and Richard, were in the Rose Scouts 4-H Club with us.

Another great Easy Recipe

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
