Homemade Croutons

1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
8 slices of stale bread, cubed

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300°. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and spices. Add bread cubes and toss until butter is absorbed. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes, turning croutons frequently so they brown evenly. Serve warm with soup.

Notes:
Vary the spices and the amount of butter to your tastes.

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
