Sugar Starch

1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar

Directions:
This makes a stiff starch that is often used for small crocheted items like Christmas ornaments.

Cook water and sugar over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved and liquid is clear. Do not boil. Wet the crocheted item thoroughly, and then soak up excess water from it by pressing it inside a bath towel. Submerge the crocheted item in the sugar solution, shape as desired and allow to dry on a towel.

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
