Homemade Fabric Paste

4-1/2 tablespoons flour
1-1/2 cups cold water
1-1/2 cups hot water
1-1/2 cups sugar

In a saucepan, mix flour and cold water until completely smooth. Heat mixture to a boil, adding hot water as it heats. Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. Add sugar and stir well. Allow to cool enough that you can safely apply it. Paste may be kept in the refrigerator in a tightly covered container for about a week.

Use to glue fabric to any flat surface, even metal.

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
