Butter Pecan Cookies

1 box Betty Crocker Butter Pecan Cake Mix
1 lightly beaten egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 bag Toffee Bits

Directions:
Mix cake mix, egg, oil, and water (do not use mixer) then add Toffee Bits. Spray cookie sheet with Pam, then drop dough by teaspoon (I use a mini dipper) and bake for 10 minutes (only). Remove cookies to baking rack to cool.

Notes:
This recipe is from Ms. Joyce Putty of Hopkinsville, KY. All her baked goodies are delicious. That's why I asked for this recipe.

Easy Cheesecake Bars

Crust ingredients:
1 box white or yellow cake mix (not a butter recipe mix)
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
1 egg

Topping ingredients:
1 box (16 oz.) powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325°. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or grease it lightly.
2. Prepare the crust. In a mixing bowl, blend cake mix and margarine until mixture is crumbly; add 1 egg and mix well. Press this mixture evenly into the baking dish.
3. Prepare the topping. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar and blend well. Stir in 2 eggs and mix well. Spread this mixture over the crust.
4. Bake for 45 minutes or until set and lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.

Note
I have another version of this recipe. It is identical except that it adds 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter to the topping along with the cream cheese, powdered sugar and eggs.

Love At Home

There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.

Roses bloom beneath our feet,
All the earth is a garden sweet,
Making life a bliss complete,
When there's love at home.
